There will be various amateur radio activations during the Jamboree On The Air on the island of Puerto Rico:
The Western Amateur Radio Club - NP3M will be with Unit 300 as well with other troops in the Mayaguez Shooting Club Caballeros de Colon in Road 102, Km. 7.4 Bo. Guanajibo in Mayagüez
The Borinquen Radio Club - WP4OLC with the Puerto Rico Amateur Radio Operators NP3RO will be helping Troop 713 los Halcones in the Colegio Corazon de Maria in the city of San Juan
The Federacion de Radioaficionados de Puerto Rico - KP4FRA will be operating with Troops in the vacation house of Jose Santiago WP4AZT.
They will also be auspiciating the Jamboree with the Cub Troop 1959 in the Antilles Millitary Academy in Trujillo Alto with the call KP4FD.The Caribbean Amateur Radio Group (CARG) will be with the Scouts of Troop 457, operating with the call of Juan Montijo - WP4OV, on his home in Road 490 Km 1.0 in Barrio Pajuil in the city of Hatillo
And the Puerto Rico Radio Scouting - WP4OEP, with the Cuerpo de Radioaficionados Voluntarios - WP4OGK with various troops in the Area Recreativa Los Tubos in the city of Manati.
If you hear any of these activations on the air, please give them a hand in helping these Scouts have their first amateur radio contacts, for these next future hams, and maybe next electronic engineers working for NASA.
